Climate change: this is the worst scientific scandal of our generation – Christopher Booker, Telegraph.co.uk

Filed under: cap and trade, climate, global warming — Tags: , — rightbill @ 12:21 PM

“A week after my colleague James Delingpole, on his Telegraph blog, coined the term “Climategate” to describe the scandal revealed by the leaked emails from the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit, Google was showing that the word now appears across the internet more than nine million times. But in all these acres of electronic coverage, one hugely relevant point about these thousands of documents has largely been missed.”

Global Warming Fraud and the Future of Science – J.R. Dunn, American Thinker

The East Anglia Climate Research Unit (CRU) revelations come as no real surprise to anyone who has closely followed the global-warming saga. The Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) thesis, to give it its semi-official name, is no stranger to fraud. It would be no real exaggeration to state that it was fertilized with fraud, marinated in fraud, stewed in fraud, and at last served up to the world as prime grade-A fraud with nice side orders of fakery and disingenuousness. Damning as they may be, the CRU e-mails are merely the climactic element in an exhaustively long line.

A short tour of previous AGW highlights would include:”  – Click here to read a really great overview of what really happened…

“We must recognize and protest the travesties of military justice that have tried, convicted, jailed and denied clemency to all too many brave Americans, the same brave Americans who have fought our wars only to be unfairly charged with “murder” in the war zone.”

Support for government solution plummets from only months ago

“A poll released today shows Americans’ belief in the current health care system  has risen dramatically in the last year, and support for a socialized solution to a health care “crisis” has nearly evaporated.

”The latest results from Rasmussen Reports show 49 percent of Americans now rate the quality of U.S. health care system as good or excellent, to only 27 percent that still argue it’s poor.”

Our Pushover President – Patrick Buchanan, Human Events

Filed under: Foreign Policy, politics — Tags: , — rightbill @ 1:34 PM

“Brazil, Japan, China, Russia and Israel are all countries with their own national interests that do not necessarily comport with those of the United States. All have come to see Obama as a diffident, dithering, doubting dilettante who can be dissed with impunity. And none of these nations is going to sacrifice what it considers critical to win a smile from Barack Obama.

“Multilateralism and globalism are on the way out. Unilateralism and nationalism are on the way in.”

“It has taken nearly 10 months for Democrats to face reality, but it’s finally dawning on some of President Obama’s allies in Congress that his economic policies aren’t working.

”As unemployment rates continue to climb into the double digits and new reports of layoffs appear weekly across the country, Democrats are feeling the heat from angry constituents and party leaders back home and some of them have begun to complain – loudly and publicly.”
